An Invitation to Join the WTR Webinar Committee!

Do you delight in learning from and with the Work That Reconnects community?

As a member of the WTR Webinar Program Committee, I offer a little of my experience here and I am sending out a warm invitation to join us! For me, coming together in various ways to learn about the Work That Reconnects and the web of related ideas and practices has been nourishing for my mind, heart and spirit.

I first encountered the Work That Reconnects about a dozen years ago and it spoke to me deeply. A multi-day workshop amongst the ancient trees on the West Coast of Canada convinced me that this work is a critical part of the Great Turning. I was delighted to join an Active Hope book group ten years ago when I moved to a new city, giving me an instant sense of community and leading into lasting friendships. In 2024 I helped out as a volunteer with the online Gaian Gathering, an incredible undertaking offering a wealth of knowledge. That led into joining the Webinar Program Committee over the past year.

As a member of the Webinar Program Committee, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of generating ideas and turning them into rich and diverse learning opportunities for our global WTR community. From discussing narratives to engaging in rituals, and from feeling and processing together in Conversation Cafés to receiving inspiration from the many creative contributions to the Great Turning, each webinar and discussion has touched me. Learning and connecting through the webinars also continues to deepen my commitment to living with the intention to serve this Earth with love and gratitude.

We currently have a small but mighty team of weavers and volunteers on the Webinar Program committee who meet monthly to plan and review our offerings. We each bring different strengths, skills and perspectives to our creative collaboration. And the support is there to learn! I never imagined I would be a tech support person, but I’m glad to be learning enough skills to support offering you, our worldwide WTR Network, chances to gather, learn, and expand understanding of the Work That Reconnects and beyond! I have found the folks on the committee to be thoughtful, talented, creative and caring; a joy to work with.
