Active Hope:  How to Become Good & Worthy Ancestors  (or How to Face the Mess We’re in without Going Crazy)

The challenges we face in today’s world can be difficult even to think about — climate change, mass extinction, gun violence, social and political division and upheaval.  Yet, turning away from the realities we face diminishes a sense of purpose, and thus hope. Active Hope, based on the book by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone, shows us how to STRENGTHEN our mutual capacity to face our social and ecological crises so we can RESPOND with resilience and creative power and ACT on behalf of our world and future generations.

Join us for monthly practice group exploring the principles of Active Hope through discussion, experiential activities, and group support.  Each group stands alone – no experience necessary.  (COVID-19 update – workshops will be held online until further notice).
