Build Resilience, Learn From Rewilding, Uncover Your Gifts

Oct 23, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm BST

Join us at Knepp Rewilding Area for a day of connection and deepening our capacity for resilience and creativity in these difficult times.

How do we build our inner resilience to cope with the daily onslaught of social injustice, nature destruction and climate crises? What tools do we need to not only survive but thrive at this time? How do you find your best responses and get unstuck from overwhelm or panic?

We will move through a day of ritual, storytelling and practices based on Joanna Macy’s ‘Work That Reconnects’ all held together and witnessed in community. We will create a space to touch our fear, grief and anger for what is happening to our world, acknowledge our overwhelm, expand our perspectives, and emerge with a new sense of how we want to show up in this unique time in history.

Through sharing practices and tools to help embrace uncertainty and build inner resilience, you will find your unique gifts to bring forward at this time.

This will be a safe space and a nurturing day and we warmly invite you to participate. There will be no pressure on you to participate in all exercises, only do what you feel comfortable with.

If you’re interested in learning to facilitate this work, attending this day is a great start. This work is needed now more than ever.

The workshop felt rich and nourishing but also clear and focused. It helped me to understand more about the challenges of the world we live in and how to be with this so that I can hold that I can move forwards in a more balanced and aligned way. Many aspects of the workshop were deeply moving as we developed connections and awareness as a group. Thank you Cindy and Priyal for sharing this important and crucial work.” – Past workshop participant, BW
