Conducting Effective Work That Reconnects Rituals and Ceremonies
with Kathleen Rude

Saturday October 8, 2022
9am-11am PDT (UTC-7)

**Please make note of what time this will be in your time zone with this Time Zone Converter.**

Rituals and ceremonies are some of the most powerful, transformative experiences in the Work That Reconnects spiral, especially when they are done well. Leading powerful ritual requires a set of skills and understanding that you can’t find in the WTR texts. In this webinar, you will learn how to conduct truly inspiring rituals with experienced WTR facilitator and ceremonial leader Kathleen Rude. She will give you insights and techniques about how to set intention and establish boundaries, how to lead with confidence in the power of ritual, how to open and close rituals and how to bring your unique gifts and wisdom into the process.

Kathleen will work with three rituals that participants need to be familiar with before the webinar: The Council of All BeingsThe Seventh Generation and the Truth Mandala

If you are having trouble accessing the registration form and you are in China please contact Helen Sui at [email protected] to register for this event. For general questions about this webinar, please use our contact form.

Kathleen Rude is a Work That Reconnects facilitator and mentor, a shamanic practitioner and an author. She fell in love with the natural world as a child and found her voice for environmental activism at age 11. Kathleen has a BS in Wildlife Ecology and an MS in Natural Resources. She began her career as an environmental writer, a profession she embraced for 18 years. She’s had the great privilege to be mentored by elders in the Blackfoot, Northern Ute and Lakota traditions and in core shamanism and has received their blessings to conduct ceremony. Their wisdom informs Kathleen’s healing practice. Yearning for a path that combined spirituality and environment causes, Kathleen knew she’d come home when she first found the Work That Reconnects and Joanna Macy over 15 years ago. Kathleen has been mentored by Joanna, co-facilitated with her and has worked closely with her and others to help envision and support the future of the Work. Kathleen facilitate workshops both online and in person. She has published a novel, The Redemption of Red Fire Woman, and is currently working on a non-fiction book, How to Become An Every Day Difference Maker. Joanna opened her heart/mind to the dangers of nuclear power, so she now serves as a board member of Nuclear Energy Information Service, a nuclear power watchdog organization, opposing nuclear power and promoting sustainable renewable energy. Kathleen recharges her spirit by helping to restore native habitats, savoring beauty and singing in celebration of life.
