Learning to see each other.
Webinar Saturday 14 May, 4-5pm BST (UK)
Margo van Greta
What do we see when looking at our fellow humans? How can we go beyond superficial layers? Can we move beyond personal likes or dislikes?
This classic Work That Reconnects practice is inspired by Buddhism. It helps us to see each other in a different way. We can learn to see each other in a new and unique way.
By looking through the eyes of Loving kindness, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity.
It helps us to truly see each other and experience the depths of our connectivity:
- It can help us to see our friends and loved ones in new and unique ways.
- It also is useful when dealing with people whom we are tempted to dislike of who have hurt us; it breaks open our accustomed ways of viewing them.
- It helps us see the humanity in complete strangers.
Let’s honour our strengths, our vulnerability, our love and our courage as our gifts for this world.
This session includes a meditation where we actually keep our eyes open.
There will be space to share your experiences.
