Online Weekend Immersion: A Journey through the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects
September 7, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - September 8, 2024 @ 6:00 pm CEST
Event Overview
I N V I T A T I O N
I am inviting you to an online weekend immersion to take a deep dive into the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects, to harness its power to resource our personal and collective resilience to take part in the healing of our world. We will also spend time with grounding and mindfulness practices so we can also cultivate a kind presence and capacity to be with.
This invitation arises from the acknowledgment that it’s not easy to live in the midst of a global society that has been unravelling for a long time. Many of us humans live within social and economic systems whose foundational principles don’t recognize the interdependence and sacredness of the web of life we are part of. Our attempts to stand up for our world–and choose a different story of how to live–are strengthened when we work together. When we support each other, remind each other about the miracle of life, grieve the destruction of life together, reconnect with ancient ways of relating to life, we re-encounter within ourselves the ways we can contribute genuinely to building a life-sustaining society. We grow our resilience to live regenerative and meaningful lives while we take part in the healing of our world.
My wish is that each of you leave this journey with a felt-sense of empowerment to provide for your wellbeing and the wellbeing of all, to contribute to the healing of our world according to your unique calling.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This journey is specially designed for practitioners, facilitators, activists, artists, leaders, trainers, working within the sustainability field and regenerative projects. Yet if you don’t recognize yourself with any of these roles and you feel the call, you are welcome too.
No prior knowledge of or experience with the Work That Reconnects neither with Mindfulness practices is needed. What you need is the willingness to bring trust, deep listening, well-intended speech, and to be an active participant.
There is a minimum of 8 participants to make the workshop happen and a maximum of 24.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
We will focus mostly in experiential practices, there will also be an introduction to some key notions of the Work That Reconnects (WTR) and to each stage of the Spiral. We’ll also have room for Grounding practices & Mindfulness tools as well as solo reflection/integration time.
Through the weekend we will be together in zoom, within the 5 hours each day, there will be breaks and for some of the practices I’ll invite you to go outside.
We will go through the entire spiral: Grounding in Gratitude, Honouring Our Pain for the World, Reclaiming our Ancient Eyes, Drawing on courage to Go Forth and Living in Deep Time. As well as make room for the cultivation of kind presence and our capacity to be with.
I will share follow up resources related to each of the stages of the spiral.
