Radical Self-care for times of crisis

Aug 5, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CEST

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until Sep 9, 2020

$90 – $200

These are challenging times, and caring for ourselves as we move through the Great Unraveling becomes ever more difficult. Yet, we need self-care if we want to shine our brightest and most authentic light into the uncertainty and chaos.

Sometimes, an act of self-care can be the most heroic thing an activist can do. Love and care for ourselves can be a key to unlock the love we have for our world. The Work That Reconnects offers us something wonderful here: the gift of knowing and feeling our connectivity with all life. It can help our love and care to go radical and transcend all imagined borders: between self and other, personal and planetary health, individual and collective sanity.

Through this 6-week course, meeting every Thursday night at 19:00-21:00 CET (UTC+2) online, we will explore how the spiral of the Work That Reconnects can carry us through our struggles – whether that’s despair and overwhelm, helplessness and frustration of being locked in, isolation, loneliness, pain for the world or personal grief.

Over this 6-week journey together, we will explore how to use practical tools to find grounding, trust and fresh insight to help us meet the challenges we face as individuals and as members of a society that is in crisis.

Please submit your email address to register – you will receive a confirmation of your registration, an invoice and the zoom link with which you can log in to the weekly sessions.

We offer this event on a sliding scale. We, like so many, struggle to make our living under the current circumstances, and we know that you might be struggling, too. Therefore, the cost for the 6-week course (6 x 2-hour sessions) will be between 90 and 200 Euros. You are asked to contribute an amount that feels right for you, considering that giving generously enables others with less financial means to participate.
