Radical Self-care for times of crisis

May 16, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm CEST

These are challenging times, and caring for ourselves as we move through the Great Unraveling becomes ever more difficult. Yet, we need self-care if we want to shine our brightest and most authentic light into the uncertainty and chaos. Sometimes, an act of self-care can be the most heroic thing an activist can do. Love and care for ourselves can be a key to unlock the love we have for our world. The Work That Reconnects offers us something wonderful here: the gift of knowing and feeling our connectivity with all life. It can help our love and care to go radical and transcend all imagined borders: between self and other, personal and planetary health, individual and collective sanity.

As we had to postpone our planned Spiral workshop to September, we want to practice radical self-care together online. We will explore how the spiral of the Work That Reconnects can carry us through our struggles – whether that’s despair and overwhelm, helplessness and frustration of being locked in, isolation, loneliness, pain for the world or personal grief. We will spend an afternoon of nourishment together, using practical tools to find grounding, trust and fresh insight to help us meet the challenges we face as individuals and as members of a society that is in crisis.

Please send us a mail to register – you will receive a confirmation of your registration and a zoom link with which you can log in to the webinar. We offer this event on a donation basis. We, like so many, struggle to make our living under the current circumstances, and we know that you might be struggling, too. So we decided to make the event free of charge and accessible to all, and ask you to contribute with your donation if you can.
