Return to Source: A Silent Retreat Weaving Eco-Dharma and The Work That Reconnects

Jun 29 - Jul 2

Eihei Dogen, the twelfth-century founder of Soto Zen, referred to meditation as a “return to source.”  Meditation teaches us to rest in awareness of our physical body, our subtle energetic body, and the field consciousness, or shared body, of the world we inhabit. We practice living from source connection in every moment, thus remembering our home in the body of all beings. Thich Nhat Hanh refers to this as “interbeing.”

Join Eden in the lush mountains of western North Carolina for a silent retreat in which we will also immerse in rituals from the Work That Reconnects. Together, we will meditate on “returning to source” and honoring our oneness with the more-than-human world. Resting in awareness, we will practice deep listening to the wilderness, within and out…  remembering our connection to source as original consciousness.

This retreat includes meditation, mindful inquiry, personal guidance sessions ,deep time in nature, and an immersion in the Work That Reconnects. All are welcome. Space is limited to an intimate group.
