SF Bay Area online (for now) Practice and Support Group – 3rd Sunday of every month – 9:45am to 2:30pm
Apr 18 @ 9:45 am - 2:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 9:45 am on day Third of the month, repeating indefinitely
A group of Bay Area lovers of the Work That Reconnects is meeting in regular practice and support sessions, using the Work to help us connect in a safe space. There we process our grief for ourselves and the world, find our love and passion for the Great Turning, share our victories and challenges in our work in the world, and give each other support for that work.
Please RSVP for the Sunday Practice groups by filling in your name on this Google Sheet.
The group is open to all — experienced practitioners, as well as those new to the Work. Please feel free to pass along this invitation to others who might be interested. This is a peer-led group, and facilitation will rotate. We had our first meeting March 15 and will continue meeting on the 3rd Sunday of the month (April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, etc). Each online zoom meeting will be broken up into two 2-hour sessions with a break for lunch. Starting at 9:45am and going until 2:30pm.
We are meeting online for now, but the goal is to switch to in-person meetings when public-health conditions permit.
The concepts and practices of the Work That Reconnects are presented in the book Coming Back to Life by Molly Brown and Joanna Macy, as well as Active Hope by Chris Johnstone and Joanna Macy. The practices from Coming Back to Life are available in the Resources section of www.workthatreconnects.org.
