The Work that Reconnects: Spiral Workshop (an introduction)

Jan 26 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm GMT

The Work That Reconnects is a transformational body of theory & practice about our world and our relationship with it.

Based on the root teachings of eco-philosopher, teacher and activist Joanna Macy, The Work That Reconnects supports people to move from a sense of isolation to a sense of participation in our world as we continue to undergo tumultuous and rapid changes during our lifetime.

In this introductory online and highly interactive and participatory workshop we will explore:

a) “The Work that Reconnects“ and how it can help us personally and professionally to face ongoing, challenging times – it allows us to open our eyes, our minds, and hearts

b) The “Three Stories of our Time” – our version, our reality, and the lens through which we see and understand what is happening in our world, and which can hold us back or help us to go forward

c) The “Spiral” – the four stages of a transformational journey that helps us experience that we are more significant, stronger, more creative, and more deeply interconnected than many of us realized.

This will be a profound and valuable experience and should you wish to go onto train as a WTR facilitator, will go towards the pre-training requirements.

Fee: £85 per person. There are just 10 places.

Facilitators: Gwyneth Jones and Linda Aspey.

Gwyneth uses a combination of Emotional Intelligence coaching, the Work that Reconnects, Positive Psychology, mindfulness and Ecopsychology to bring people into deeper connection with themselves, others, and the natural world, helping them to build resilience, manage uncertainty, and find peace while surrounded by chaos.    https://gwynethjones.coach/

Linda brings her passion for listening and community building to support people in developing their independent thinking, enacting culture change, engaging them in climate conversations and in building their resources as they navigate the multiple challenges of our changing times.  She is global faculty at Time to Think, which resonates deeply with the Work that reconnects, in which she is currently formally training as a facilitator.  www.aspey.com
