WTR Network: Conversation Café

Aug 27 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm PDT

TOPIC: Weaving Systems Thinking into Our WTR Experiences

DATE: Saturday, August 27 / Sunday, August 28 (Asia)
TIME: 4-5:30pm PDT (UTC -7)
**Check what time this will be for you HERE.**

Following on from the brilliant exploration of Systems Thinking presented in one of our recent webinars with Fritjof Capra and Jeremy Lent, this Conversation Cafe will give us the opportunity to explore ways to weave Systems Thinking more deeply into our Work That Reconnects offerings. We may be fascinated and inspired by the principles of patterns, systems and deep ecology, but how can we use these theories to support our practices as activists, facilitators and change-makers?

Experienced and emerging facilitators, as well as WTR practitioners, are invited to come together to share your insights and learn from your community.

➡️  To prepare for this interactive conversation please watch A Systems View of Life with Fritjof Capra and Jeremy Lent

This Café will be hosted by Jo delAmor.

Conversation Cafés are opportunities to have meaningful conversations on topics that emerge from our recent webinars or directly from the community. Hosted by WTR Network Staff and facilitated as council-style discussions, these unique gatherings allow us to connect with each other more deeply while entering into edgier conversations and exploring actionable ideas that can contribute to our personal and/or professional lives as WTR facilitators, emerging facilitators and/or participants.

The main content of each Conversation Café will be generated by the participants as we learn from and with each other. In order to create a more interactive and intimate environment, Conversation Cafés will not be recorded.

With the intention to delve directly into discussion of the selected topic, we may provide material to review ahead of time.
