How are You a Shambhala Warrior? – Network Newsletter, July 2022

Frieda Nixdorf · Jul 22, 2022 · Leave a Comment

Dear WTR Network Family and Friends,

The new edition of Active Hope begins by acknowledging how increasingly urgent the call to action has become in the ten years since the book was first published. Co-authors Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone remind us that the realities we are facing can seem insurmountable. In times like these we are called to find courage and resilience we didn’t know we had. The Shambhala Warrior Prophecy can be a powerful guiding story for us. When we recognize ourselves as someone who has been called to dismantle harm, we are heeding the call of the Shambhala Warrior.

On July 23rd, Joanna and Chris will join us for an Active Hope (new edition) Book Launch, during which they will speak about the invitation of the prophecy. In 2005, Chris recorded Joanna telling the story of the Shambhala Warrrior Prophecy. The story is as powerful now as it was then. We invite you to watch the video and join the webinar. You may find that this prophecy speaks directly to you.

Be sure to check our event listings for Chris Johnstone’s free Active Hope Foundations Training, a book group and other workshops offering opportunities to engage.

Yours in the Great Turning,

🌀 WTR Network Weavers Team
Constance, Frieda, Helen, Jo, Kathleen, Paula, Shayontoni and Silvia
