Hello I am Antonia. Currently based in the Netherlands, I am a mother of three (aged 11, 8 & 6). I am a primary school teacher turned antenatal teacher and doula, and am currently working to relieve the NHS throughout lockdown by teaching breastfeeding/birth/parenting classes online. I first 'woke up' to the climate crisis two years ago, and have been consumed with a desire and energy to support the fight to save our world and species ever since. I have been lucky enough to receive help from a professional climate change coach/therapist who helped me face and process my grief and terror, and in turn move forward. I have set up 'Climate Conversation' discussion groups, offered nature clubs for children, run carbon footprint workshops and been very active in XR - but I still long to make much more of a difference. I feel very frightened and desolate about the global apathy and sloth like approach to dealing with the crisis, but Joanna's work has been an enormous support to me in my darkest times. I long to support others in a similar way. I am very keen to be more involved with The Work That Reconnects.
