Cherie Conrad

Living in New Zealand, currently living with and caring for my partner's 100yr old father... preparing a housebus, caravan and gardens on land nearby to move to next... have been living addiction recovery and healing from the effects of trauma for a while now and facilitating various groups over the years all of which ultimately focussed on ways to reconnect with our/the Life force (whatever you want to call it) through uncovering the ways we block ourselves to avoid the pain. The 'Work that Reconnects' pretty much describes that process for me, but with a societal, global viewpoint rather than an individual one. It was through my personal process of healing that I became aware of oppressive systems, from familial through to global coming from a place 30 years ago where I conformed and believed the propaganda. I know it is possible to transition out of that space as I have lived it.
