Karen Hurley

I was honoured to do the facilitator training with Joanna in summer of 2008 at the Land of Medicine Buddha in the redwoods outside of Santa Cruz (while I was a middle aged doctoral student). I later used Joanna's book "World as Lover; World as Self" as one of the textbooks for a university course I taught on Women and Environments; the students loved the book (as do I). I've used the Work that Reconnects theory in writing and it informs workshops I do on futures visioning. At this time I'm slowed down by a chronic illness.
