I work as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Nature Connection mentor, facilitator and farmer in San Luis Obispo and Sonoma counties, in California. I co-guide a 22-month Rites of Passage / Initiation journey for young adult women in East/North Bay and incorporate the Work that Reconnects into our curriculum. I have been in private practice since 2008 as a Massage Therapist and recently transitioned my practice to offer Somatic Experiencing Trauma Resolution with a touch component. I have been facilitating the Work that Reconnects in various settings and incorporating it into my work since 2006. I have shared the work in Colombia with the organization Effecto Mariposa, and throughout the northern California area. I currently offer workshops on the central coast focusing on the Work that Reconnects and cultivating our relationship with grief. I live and work on an organic, biodynamic farm with my partner in Paso Robles, California. I co-steward 203 acres of wild lands in Northern Mendocino where groups gather for deep nature connection and rites of passage ceremony. (www.polcumsprings.net)
