I come to The Work that Reconnects from a long history of working with faith communities on climate change and sustainability. As a minister in the United Church of Christ (UCC), I honor the value of all spiritual traditions, and as a sustainability consultant, I understand the real-world components of transitioning to a life-sustaining society. My goal is to work with groups of people to help them glimpse a wider basis for hope, and a new sense of purpose for their lives.

Audiences I work with

No specific target groups. However, I am writing a book about my experience parenting my son as he transitioned from female to male as a teenager. I would be happy to do more work with the LGBT community.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
I co-facilitated a WTR retreat October 12-14, 2018 at Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center near Lincoln, Nebraska. I led this with Mary Pipher and Judy Greenwald. We had about 28 attendees, and it was a very successful experience. I have retreat evaluation data I can share on request.
