Kolya was trained during a 10 day intensive with Joanna Macy in 2006. Since then, she has been facilitating groups with the Work that Reconnects as a space to name our fears and grief in the face of the Great Unraveling, and thereby deepen our capacity for creative response to contribute to the manifestation of the Great Turning. She has led Active Hope workshops and incorporated WTR practices in many contexts and groups: non-violence trainings for peace and justice, study circles (Active Hope book groups), youth, and faith organizations. Kolya conveys her passion for the way that moving through the Spiral can ground us in the deep time of evolution and the deep connection of our interdependence with the whole web of life. In 2021 Kolya attended the 6 month online Facilitators Training which incorporated Deocolonizing our Minds and Trauma Resilience.
