Nicole Helena MooimanCatfarm Education & Community

I wish to tell the story.

The story of awakening into belonging and love. The story of walking the path with our feet on the soil beneath us, walking the path with our hearts. The story of my community, how we evolve and face very real earthly obstacles. How nature is our teacher, if only we learn to listen. How we moved away from the city only to find ourselves creating it again. How growth and rush is ingrained in us, how we carry the cities with us and how to deconstruct and recreate a culture that sees the fundament upon which the collective is formed; Mother Earth. That which is underneath our feet, all around and inside of us that is constantly supporting us. Holding us, embracing us and accepting us back no matter how we treated her. To be humbled again. To move from self-isolating separation into grateful reunion of our beings. The story all of us know, we just need to remember.

I believe in serving from this place, to do what I do with love and gratitude in all my actions. Not always yet in practice, but I learn to love my shadows too.

I am part of an eco-community in Southern France called Catfarm. We inspire, share and grow together into a sustainable future. Here I facilitate workshops around topics like mindfulness, eco-living, authentic self-expression and vulnerable connection and offering meditations connected to honouring the land, nature around us and finding stillness within. With a background in psychology I am now expanding further into eco-psychology, eco-spirituality, vipassana mediation, Bhakti yoga practices, natural medicine and Ayurveda.
