I’m a coach and facilitator working with climate change awareness, conversation and engagement with leaders, teams and coaches, supporting them in facing the challenges of our time. A founding member of the Climate Coaching Alliance, and an active member of the Climate Psychology Alliance, I came across the beautiful Work that Reconnects back in 2018, when I attended several short courses. I have since been facilitating introductory workshops for leaders in organisations plus independent coaches and therapists who have been profoundly impacted. I completed the WTR Facilitator Development Programme in early 2022.
I deliver keynotes and talks on coaching and climate change, mental health, climate psychology, and more. I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor (and awarded Fellow of BACP), BACP media spokesperson on climate change and mental health, a qualified supervisor of individuals and groups, a trained Time to Think coach, facilitator, consultant, global faculty at Time to Think (the Thinking Environment), and I write the Climate Coaching column for Coaching at Work magazine.
Why I am called to facilitate the Work
My work with individuals, teams, groups and whole organisations who want to take positive action on climate, environmental and social change has been deeply enhanced by bringing the Work that Reconnects to them. Each time, it offers people a profound experience of connection, in completely new ways, and the impacts are lasting. My love of the earth and all the beings that live in it has only been enriched by my own WTR journey, and I hope that by my sharing this passion, others will feel more connected, inspired, and hopeful.
How I see the Work serving the Great Turning
The Work that Reconnects serves the Great Turning at many levels: I have drawn on it to help people to:
- build more inclusive, trusting and compassionate work cultures
- increase their awareness of climate, environmental, social & other systemic issues, helping them to build resilience & make positive impacts
- facilitate leadership & staff offsites that have brought people into a much greater awareness of the wider systems, deep time, and the power of connection
- inspire people to have courageous conversations about these complex issues, taking a thoughtful, sensitive and integrated head, heart and hands approach.
Audiences I work with
Currently I work extensively (pro bono) with climate and environmental activists, young and old, bringing them the Work that Reconnects to help them to build trust, courage and resilience. I also work with a variety of people in teams and groups in organisational settings, including health and social care, and commercial, offering trainings, facilitations and 1:1 and team coaching work.
