I am an event organizer, trainer and coach in the area of (inner) sustainability and leadership in the face of climate change. Through a background in organic farming and landscape architecture, I have always asked myself how we relate to nature and how we can shape our involvement and care. These questions led me to investigate the human psyche in relation to her surrounding through various nature-based traditions and Buddhist retreats, my coaching education, and finally, a facilitator training for the Work that Reconnects.

Audiences I work with

I love working with people between 20-35, who are in search of their contribution in this day and age. I am also very much at home in academic settings.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
July 2018 and planned again for July 2019: Weeklong retreat for students around inner sustainability and leadership, using methods from the work that reconnects: Gratitude practice, Open sentences, Deep time walk, Truth Mandala, Council of all Beings. See https://www.otherwisewageningen.nl/en/otherwise/News-and-Agenda/iWEEK-2019-Wild-Wisdom-A-Journey-in-reConnection-registration-open.htm

Monthly 3-hour 'inner sustainability practice' for University students, including Deep time Walk, the Seventh generation, and introduction of the Spiral (gratitude practice, systems game, open sentences): https://www.otherwisewageningen.nl/en/otherwise/News-and-Agenda/Inner-Sustainability-Practice-The-Spiral-.htm

WTR introduction and Truth mandala practice integrated in a coaching education: https://www.hoogendijkcoaching.nl/wie-zijn-wij/

Interactive lecture series inspired by the Work that Reconnects at Wageningen University: https://www.otherwisewageningen.nl/en/otherwise/News-and-Agenda/Inner-Sustainability-Talks-1-Mental-Health-in-Climate-Science-2.htm

I have also included inspiration from the Truth Mandala practice in my one-on-one coaching sessions when I felt it could add something significant, which has been very inspiring.
