Marc LapinBowing Branches Sacred Activism

Marc has been facilitating Work That Reconnects since 2007. A practicing conservation ecologist for 30 years, he now teaches at Middlebury College and has focused on bringing the Work to local communities, college students, academics and environmental professionals. With a commitment to contemplative pedagogies, Marc has been modifying many practices for use in classrooms and field labs. His grounded presence and inspiring facilitation come from a life of meditative practice, learning from land and nature, and devotion to deep ecology. He is a student curious about systems thinking, Goethean science, different ways of knowing, and how we can express the radical interdependence of Earth's livingness in ourselves and our human institutions. Marc welcomes all inquiries to connect with you to help bring about the Great Turning to more life-sustaining ways.
