I am a lover of Earth and work to preserve its majestic beauty and loving support for all life. I know that what happens to one part of our web happens to all; we all have a stake in the survival of the planet. My greatest joy is learning how to further my connection to the planet and its myriad forms of life. I believe our Earth connections are most easily identified in natural settings, but my work is to help those in urban areas discover (or rediscover) that nature surrounds us even amid the cement, buildings and crowds. When we dig deeply enough, we can reinvigorate, learn from and nourish that connection.
I have training in compassionate listening, inclusion, and heart-centered work. I have completed the Work that Reconnects Facilitator Development Training program. I am currently completing studies in trauma and resilience and non-violent communication. I will complete a Mindfulness Training Teacher certification this year. These various interests all rise from my desire to be helpful in moving our planet forward in a caring and loving way. I incorporate WTR tenets in my group work.
