Dr. Paul M. Pulé is an Australian social and environmental justice activist, ecopreneur and scholar. His post-doctoral research at Chalmers University in Göteborg, Sweden ponders the intersections between men, masculinities and Earth through the lenses of Critical Studies on Men and Masculinities, Environmental Philosophy and Queer Ecologies, resulting in two books (a monograph: Ecological Masculinities: Theoretical Foundations and Practical Guidance, followed by an anthology: Men, Masculinities and Earth: Contending with the (m)Anthropocene). Paul’s work is published in and influences numerous academic texts and popular science articles on ecological masculinities within the Gender and Environment metanarrative, with government, corporate, NGO, intersectional and climate activist applications. His specialisation addresses the social constructions of masculinities that dwell in us all, with a particular focus on masculinities theories and practices.
