Deep ecology is a way of being for me. I am an end-of-life doula now creating Bridget Gratitude Gardens, where inner gardens contain a labyrinth surrounded by hugelkulter berms filled with medicinal herbs and the outer gardens defined as conservancy natural burial. This restoration project is intending to be an education center, as we restore two 150 yr old stone buildings for the arts, for lodging, and for nourishment. People call me “Flo”.
