Polly Howells

I was a psychotherapist in Brooklyn, NY for 38 years until I retired in 2009 to devote myself more fully to the healing of the earth and its communities. I am a facilitator of the Pachamama Alliance's Awakening the Dreamer Changing the Dream" symposium, and a member of the NY/NJ Metro Pachamama group. I am also involved in Woodstock Transition (woodstocknytransition.org). I have been, for fourteen years, co-facilitating a yearly retreat for women now called Reclaiming our Lives, Reclaiming our Earth, based on the work of Jungian analyst Marion Woodman and her colleagues. I was on the Board of Directors of Bioneers for 6 years, including two years as Board Chair. I am currently on the Board of Radical Joy for Hard Times.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
Co-facilitated a day-long workshop with my husband Eric Werthman for Etsy.org (now the Good Work Institute) in Brooklyn on May 1, 2016. I have also integrated many of the practices of TWTR into other workshops I run, including Training for Transition, Reclaiming our Lives Reclaiming our Earth, and the Awakening The Dreamer Symposium.
