I am passionate about developing a truly regenerative and reconnected culture, one that works for all, and supports the rebalancing of our ecological systems. I truly believe we stand now at a crossroads, and that deep change is possible. Our task now is to reimagine our reality, moving beyond our current worldview of separation towards a remembering that all life is interconnected, recognising the power each of us holds in the co-creation of a new Earth.
Based in Scarborough, on the Southern tip of Africa, I am an independent facilitator, coach and Purpose Guide. I have supported social changemakers in areas such as personal growth and leadership for over 20 years, more recently harnessing the power of social entrepreneurship to bring about lasting systemic change. My work is based on the premise that each of us has unique gifts and talents to offer, a clear purpose that we have come to fulfil, and a foundation of wisdom contained within.
I have studied Systems Thinking at the Schumacher Institute, am a mindfulness practitioner, and a scholar of shamanic practice.
I love to play the guitar, and facilitate Songs that Reconnect circles, connecting together in song for the healing of our planet. I am also mother of two beautiful children, a keen gardener, and I love to soak in the beauty of the natural world in wild places whenever I can.

Why I am called to facilitate the Work

We are in a time now of great transition, a time when many of us are hearing the call to play a stronger role in the transformation of our world and the awakening of humanity towards a more beautiful world we hold within our hearts.
I whole-heartedly believe that many of the challenges we are currently facing in our world can only be met and resolved with a different level of consciousness, and a complete shift in worldview. This new worldview being called forth is one of true interbeing, where we recognise our deepest nature, fully at home within the greater ecological web of life. This is a shift from an ego-centric experience of the world towards an eco-centric experience. Once this transformation of perception has been awakened, our actions arise from a completely different perspective, that of service to all life – human and non-human, to the healing of our world, and to the Great Turning.

It is my heart’s joy and my life’s work to support this transition and awakening. Together we explore new ways of seeing these difficult times, seeking meaningful ways to respond and support healing in our communities and lives. Together we can find ways to fall back in love again and again with our beautiful Mother Earth, with ourselves and all life, reaching beyond this illusion of separation towards a new future that is life-affirming and regenerative in all senses.

How I see the Work serving the Great Turning

We live in challenging and uncertain times. Globally, the words ‘climate emergency’ and ‘sixth mass extinction’ have hit the mainstream and predictions of near-term social, economic and environmental collapse cause great concern for growing numbers of people of all ages. Our disconnection with each other, and with our Mother Earth, is becoming ever clearer and many of us feel alone as we hold within us the weight of the world.
There are, however, growing numbers of people expressing a longing to come into a deeper connection with our own hearts, and with each other, to live meaningful lives and to feel ourselves returned to the circle of belonging within the wider Earth community.
The Work that Reconnects offers a solid foundation for people to connect more deeply to who they are, at the core of their being, connect with others in empathy and compassion and to connect with Mother Earth, beyond the illusion of separation.
The Work initiates hope within those who experience it, and a sense of ‘belonging’ to a community of changemakers or ‘boddhisatvas’, all working to anchor a more beautiful world that lives in all of our hearts.

Audiences I work with

I work with people who have a sense there is more to life than the current story presents, those who want to pivot towards more meaning, truth, and purpose in their lives, and who want to tap into the ancient wisdom available within and around each and every one of us.

Background & Training

Other relevant skills & experiences

I am passionate about developing a truly regenerative and sustainable culture, one that works for us all, and that supports the rebalancing of our ecological systems. I truly believe we stand now at a crossroads, here in this moment where we choose to contribute towards transformation and a more beautiful world that supports all of our human and non-human world, or we continue on the current trajectory and face the consequences.

I have dedicated my working life to this great awakening and transformation, first through supporting non-profits in their purpose-led work, then harnessing the power of social entrepreneurship to bring long-lasting, systemic change, in the UK, Asia and across Africa.

I write and play medicine songs, and regularly host song circles based on the spiral of the Work that Reconnects. I am a gardener and love to be in nature.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

I have been a facilitator for over 20 years, working with individuals and organisations working for social change. My work has focussed predominantly on inspiring exceptional leadership, and on social entrepreneurship.

Over the last 2 years I have been incorporating some of the practices of the Work that Reconnects, in order to enable a deeper connection with the ecological web of life. For example, I recently developed a new component on ‘Leading in the Climate Emergency’ for a Leadership programme for CEOs of social enterprises, via the Social Enterprise Academy, an organisation I work with frequently. Within that I included exercises on gratitude, aswell as some exercises around nature connection.

I have recently trained to be a Purpose Guide, working with individuals and groups to support people to discover and live their Soul's calling and purpose.
