Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Clinical Psychologist who has served as a leadership and organizational performance consultant since 1984. He works within the broad healthcare industry to help advance strategic alignment, develop leadership effectiveness and accelerate necessary change.

Clinically trained at Harvard’s Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Dr. Fitzpatrick joined the Harvard Community Health Plan in 1983. For ten years he served as the organization’s first non-physician Chief of Behavioral Health.

During these years he continuously expanded his consulting expertise and mentoring of leaders within a broad array of medical groups, hospitals and other health care organizations. Throughout this development he has increasingly focused on building strategies and programs for improving organizational effectiveness.

Dr. Fitzpatrick was an active member of the teaching faculty of the Harvard Medical School for seventeen years. He is the author of a well recognized book on the impact of managed care and numerous professional articles.

Since 1984 Dr. Fitzpatrick has been privileged to work with the executives and boards of a wide variety of the nations leading and most prestigious healthcare organizations. These include large and small hospitals, medical groups, integrated delivery systems, health plans, medical schools and academic medical centers.
