Eco-psychologist, systemic thinker, explorer of peaceful communication, and a lover of meditation. I'm a nomadic spirit and a grounded being. I love pine trees and wild roses, high mountains and deep oceans, blue skies and the milky way. I'm inspired by whales and dolphins, eagles and wolves, and my favorite thing is to go on long nature walks. I am grateful for the power of community, in awe of the interconnectedness of all life, and feel very happy to be part of the Work that Reconnects community.

Why I am called to facilitate the Work

I first came across the WTR when I was living at Findhorn, in Scotland. I remember how it made me vibrate - that kind of feeling when I find something I know is about to change my life for the best. And it did, hugely. While I was in Scotland I got to do a training with Chris Johnstone, and when I got back to Portugal I continued to do online workshops with him. I've organized workshops and courses (nature connection, rewilding, ecovillage design, sociocracy, relationships) that included the WTR. I've experienced time and again the power of change that it has. I feel called to share that transformative effect, to help ground our power as beings that are part of the Earth.

How I see the Work serving the Great Turning

At this very moment we are living, going through this pandemic, I see even more clearly the amazing gifts the WTR can offer to life on Earth. I love how it brings deep connection, breaking the agonizing feeling of being alone while we become aware of the atrocities going on in the world. I appreciate the amazing tools to navigate this senseless moment of life on Earth, helping to ground the practice of gratitude, nourishing us enough to go through the heartbreaking process of being with the pain of the world. I deeply value how the spiral goes on, taking us to shift from there, and into a new perspective, informed and empowered by the processing of the pain - that right there may be my favorite thing, that ability to turn things around. To use what comes up for us processing the suffering, and from there, with newly acquired vision, being able to move forth with new steps, new actions, and use all of the process to serve life here now. Ate the moment, i dance between having active hope that things may still change and get better and the other, and the sad possibility of our species getting extinct. In either option, or other nuanced possibilities, the Work can make a huge difference. In whatever scenario, we will be all the better if deeply connected.

Audiences I work with

I usually work with people who are trying to set up intentional communities or working on making their projects more sustainable. Sometimes people on a spiritual path looking for places where they can share their gifts. Usually people who have a somewhat stable life but feels discontent and disconnected, who is looking for joy / fulfillment / purpose / community / deep happiness. I work one on one and with groups.
