I founded Psychology for Ecology in 2018 to offer workshops for gaining resilience in the face of ecological crisis. I offer regular workshops to the local community in the city of Bath and can offer to groups and organisations in the west and southwest by arrangement. I have worked for many years as a clinical psychologist but now devote most of my time to the ecological crisis. I am a recently trained facilitator in The Work That Reconnects, having trained with Chris Johnstone, Kirsti Norris and Jenny McKewan. All my workshops are offered in the gift economy. I welcome collaboration and am incorporating skills sharing into workshops so that others can practice facilitation skills.
Why I am called to facilitate the Work
I am deeply committed to working to alleviate the climate and ecological crisis. From my own experience of finding the Work personally transformative, inspiring, and nourishing, I wish to bring it to others and make the Work more widely known.
How I see the Work serving the Great Turning
I see that we can all struggle to know how to live in this world currently unravelling around us, and the Work offers a beautiful and powerful framework for relating to our pain, relearning how to grieve together and reconnect with our ecological selves so that we can work for a Great Turning from a place of groundedness and interconnection.
