Sarah brings to The Work That Reconnects years of experience helping people discover meaning and joy in life. As a Unitarian Universalist minister, she has accompanied people through griefs and births, crises and challenges, always looking for what Rev. Dr. Howard Thurman called "the growing edge," that "upward reach of life when weariness closes in upon all endeavor." Sarah's current ministry is with the Pacific Western Region of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations, where she supports congregational health and lifespan faith development for 180+ congregations in the Western US. She resides with her family in the border city of San Diego, California, where she revels in nature, resists US border policy, and advocates for the fair and compassionate treatment of immigrants (and everyone else.)

Audiences I work with

People of faith, congregational leaders, the "spiritual but not religious."

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
I have been enrolled in the Facilitator Training Program for 2017-18. I just completed a one-day workshop at the UU Fellowship of San Dieguito in Solana Beach, CA yesterday. 19 people registered; 16 people attended. It was a great group.
