Teresa L. Chilkowich

A passionate social change agent, Teresa has been engaged in & facilitating deep ecology/ ecopsychology, ecological stewardship, environmental education, and community building activities for over twenty years.

Teresa has been a student of Joanna Macy & Facilitator of "The Work that Reconnects" since 2003. The transformative, experiential group processes created by Dr. Macy & colleagues, help people cultivate connection & wholeness with themselves, with others, & the living Earth. This in turn opens up opportunities to transform emotions such as frustration, despair, or disconnection into empowering actions that foster more sustainable ways to live in harmony with the Earth.

Teresa has recently moved West ... yet still North of the 60th Parallel, ... to the Yukon River watershed, where she respectfully acknowledges that she lives & works within the Traditional Territories of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation, Kwanlin Dün First Nation, & Ta’an Kwäch’än Council (outside of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, CANADA).
