I am a retired college teacher, non-retired activist, workshop leader, singer, and song-leader. I taught adult students for over 30 years, specializing in human services & sustainable community development. I’ve been facilitating WTR workshops for over 10 years in formats ranging from 2 hour introductory sessions to full-weekend and week-long workshops. I’m also a Unitarian lay worship leader and offer Sunday services that introduce WTR. I’m very involved in environmental activism through the Springfield (Mass) Climate Justice Coalition, a strong voice for pro-active efforts to build sustainable and resilient community in Springfield.

Audiences I work with

Primarily adult constituencies. Many drawn from UU congregations and networks. Also at Life Long Learning Programs. I'm beginning to bring this work also into the environmental activist networks in this area.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
My 30 years teaching adults in the School of Human Services (Springfield College) was grounded in 'critical dialog education', facilitating dialog among these diverse, savvy, experienced community workers as the foundation of their learning. The curriculum was grounded in Paolo Friere's pedagogy.
