Vicente Brown

An educator for the past 40 years, I have taught organic food production, sustainable forestry, wildland restoration, and social resiliency. I have been involved in the WTR since 2003, facilitated the work since 2012, and have been a member of a self-facilitated WTR men’s group since 2007. With a master’s degree in Transformative Leadership, I am completing my PhD focusing on the lived-life benefits for men who engage in this work, but I also facilitate, and co-facilitate, in co-ed groups.

Audiences I work with

I am interested in getting more men into the WTR, but also work with youth, in academics, and mixed gender groups; the more the merrier.

Experience facilitating other events & workshops

What year did you begin facilitating the Work That Reconnects?
I held a weekly open space for doing the WTR for 6 months in 2012; co-facilitated in our on-going WTR men's group 2007 to present; presented WTR activities at numerous gatherings such as solstice/equinoxes, New Year celebrations, and Earth Day. I have also brought WTR practices into academic settings as an introduction to the Spiral and to the WTR in general.
