Event Overview

How do we re-member our connection to each other and the more-than-human world in times of unraveling systems? This four-day workshop weaves Theatre, Deep Ecology, and The Work That Reconnects with ritual, somatic wisdom, and storytelling. Together we will explore how these practices can heal the wounds of separation and open new possibilities for how we live, relate, and act in the world.

Héctor Aristizábal is a Colombian therapist, theatre-maker, and artivist who weaves ritual, art, and healing in communities facing trauma and transition. After surviving torture and exile, he founded ImaginAction, bringing theatre and reconciliation practices to more than 50 countries.

In 2017, he returned to Colombia to co-create Re-Conectando, accompanying the Truth Commission with The Work That Reconnects and social theatre for reconciliation. He is also co-founder of Dreaming Action, supporting cultural transformation in organizations, and author of The Blessing Next to the Wound.**
