“I arrived feeling a lot of despair for our future. This workshop helped me see that I am not alone. I saw that connecting with others energized, motivated and inspired me to recommit to activism with renewed passion and commitment.”
Active Hope is a participatory workshop designed to help you transform fear and despair into inspiration and a sense of empowerment.
In pairs and small groups, you will have a chance to connect with each other and process how you are feeling during this extraordinary moment in time – filled with incredible advances and also a convergence of crises.
We will learn about creative ways that we can participate as individuals and/or a group to help contribute to a regenerative future.
This workshop is led by Beth Remmes who is the Coastal Outreach and Climate Resiliency Coordinator for Georgia Interfaith Power & Light, and a Facilitator for The Work that Reconnects, on which this workshop is based.
