Conversations with the Seventh Generation: a WTR Network Ritual with Anna Swisher

Event Overview

In this special WTR Network ritual, Anna Swisher will guide us into direct conversation with the Seventh Generation – those humans who will live seven generations after us. This ritual invites us into a space of Deep Time, helps us express the challenges we face living in the world right now, and supports us in discovering more about the part we want to play in creating a better world for future generations. All you need in order to participate is a willingness to use your imagination.

The framework of the Work That Reconnects (WTR) acknowledges that we are living in a challenging, confusing, and heartbreaking time. This classic WTR ritual helps us to share our pain for the world – which often lightens our load – as well as to widen our perspective, find the beauty, gifts and strengths in the challenges, and identify small steps that we can each take to support Life on our beautiful planet for the ones yet to be.

In order to create a more conducive environment for deep sharing and interactive ritual participation, this event will not be recorded. Please only register if you are available to attend live and engage in the process.

Anna Swisher is a Latvian-American woman living in the west of Ireland. She currently works as an Active Hope facilitator and mentor, and works part-time with a Community Development organisation. She has a background in communications, psychology, nature-based education and design, somatics and movement and youth work. She grew up in North Carolina, spent a decade in San Francisco, and after returning to her Latvian roots for a bit, she finally settled in Ireland. She’s currently enjoying building gardens, learning about circular economy, singing, and taking herself a bit less seriously.
