How to live in this world so marked by war, violence, deepening inequity and rising fascism? How to find a path with heart amidst the climate crisis and deep environmental losses? Over three days we will cultivate courage and resilience through practices and ceremonies that open us to the pain we carry for our planetary home and deepen our gratitude and respect for the gifts of life. In community we will explore ways of knowing and renew our connections to ourselves, each other and the animate universe.

Jackie and Maggie have co-facilitated The Work That Reconnects retreats for over twenty-five years, bringing into the work a wide range of experiences as educators, facilitators and activists in social justice and environmental movements, as well as Maggie’s background in trauma psychotherapy.
They are walking a path of grounding this work in practices of decolonization.
