March 28, 2026 – Tending to Collective Trauma: Learning About Collective Healing was a live, experiential webinar that invited participants to explore trauma not as something to be fixed, but as a natural, adaptive response that can be met with awareness, care, and relational support. Designed with spaciousness and safety, the session wove together body-based practices, gentle reflection, and shared inquiry to help participants build capacity to stay present in the face of overwhelming personal, collective, and ecological realities. Rather than focusing on stories of trauma, the emphasis is on resourcing—strengthening the inner, relational, and ecological supports that allow us to remain connected to ourselves, one another, and the living world.
Through guided grounding practices, accessible teaching on individual, intergenerational, collective, and environmental trauma, and carefully facilitated small-group dialogue, participants were invited to sense both their own nervous systems and the collective field that emerges when people gather with intention. The session explores healing as an ongoing process of integration and coherence—marked by increased emotional stability, resilience, and trust in one’s inner wisdom—while honoring clear boundaries around safety and self-regulation. This call was especially relevant for those engaged in systems change, climate work, and the Work That Reconnects, offering practical ways to cultivate collective regulation, prevent burnout, and sustain long-term engagement with what matters most.

To continue to learn from and deepen healing with Laura and Stephanie, we encourage you to join them for the Resourcing Ourselves for Collective Healing / Sanando en Colectivo – a 6 session bilingual program running from August through November, 2026.
This will be an exceptional opportunity for WTR Facilitators and anyone else who wants to increase their capacity to stay present, resourced, and relational in the face of individual, collective, and ecological trauma — so reconnection work remains sustainable rather than overwhelming.
