The Eternal Song film screening and discussion series is hosted by the WTR Network Social Justice committee. It offers the WTR Network community an opportunity to watch the remarkable films created by our friends at SAND (Science and Nonduality) and then gather, reflect and engage in meaningful dialogue inspired by the films.

This series of thirteen deeply moving films invites us into a space of remembrance, honouring Indigenous resilience and sacred wisdom, while bearing witness to the intergenerational trauma of colonization, cultural erasure, and ongoing inequities. They echo the threads we explore in the WTR: honoring our pain for the world, reconnecting with the Earth, and listening for what is alive within and around us.

We warmly invite you to watch each of the films online in your own time before coming together for community reflection in our scheduled discussion sessions. Together, we will explore our place within the long lineage of human life with Earth with humility and care, and gently support the work of collective healing — within ourselves, our communities, and our relationship with the Earth.

This film screening and discussion series includes:

  • 13 full-length films. You can access one film at a time by free-choice donation or purchase access to the entire collection of films, along with a powerful bundle of bonus material (scroll below for details)
  • WTR Network hosted discussion sessions every other month over the course of the coming year, focusing on a specific film each time. The discussions for each film will be offered at two different times to accommodate the wide range of locations and time zones in our global community.

You can join us for all the films and discussion sessions or just choose the ones you’re available for. No commitment is required.

About the Films

Filmed across Indigenous lands from the Arctic to the Amazon, the Eternal Song documentary series is not just a collection of films — it is a transmission. A thread of memory and prayer woven through 12 Indigenous communities, each carrying their own ancestral songs of grief, resilience, and belonging.

Our friends and filmmakers Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo at Science & Nonduality (SAND) thought they were making a film about intergenerational trauma. But what emerged was a prayer for collective remembering, an invocation to the rhythms of Earth.

“As we filmed, we were invited into a different kind of time. Stories surfaced not only of pain, but of resilience. Not only of loss, but of wisdom. We began to hear something older than words—the song of existence itself.”

— Zaya & Maurizio

The Eternal Song film series is a remembrance of our original belonging—to Earth, to each other, and to the ancestors that have never stopped singing.

This is more than a series of film screenings. It’s a global circle of listening.
