Grief and Grace, The Work That Reconnects
Nov 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm GMT
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until Dec 10, 2022
Grief and Grace
Includes Full Spiral of the Work That Reconnects, from Saturday 19 November
with Margo van Greta
The challenges we face sometimes when we look at the world around us are huge. It can be devastating to be confronted with the climate crisis, and its effects on life on planet earth. We may experience frustration, anger, despair, numbness, or simply the wish to turn away from it all.
Or we may choose a different response. Every crisis also is an opportunity to generate our resilience, to bring forth our courage, creativity and care. It may ask us to dig deeper into our own inner resources. “Be the change you want to see in the world” said Mahatma Gandhi.
We don’t have to do this alone. We can link up with a growing number of people, organisations, and networks who contribute to a regenerative world, with creativity, skill and dedication. We too can be part of the Great Turning, in our own unique way.
‘Grace happens when we act with others on behalf of our world.’ Joanna Macy
In this four week course we engage with The Work That Reconnects, originated by Joanna Macy. We use the formato of the Spiral as our framework. We will focus on GRATITUDE in our life, building up resilience as we do so. We give space to HONOUR OUR PAIN for the world, as grieving is an essential part of stepping into wholeness. We will shift our perspective though SEEING WITH NEW EYES, and integrate this in our life. In GOING FORTH, we explore our vision of the world we do want to live in, and identify steps we are willing and able to take, no matter how small or large.

What previous participants say (May 2022)
‘This is a wonderful course! It gives us insight into our thoughts and perspectives and helps us to clarify our place and activity in the world.’
‘Margo’s course enabled me to connect more deeply with myself, places of gratitude, pain, and hope, and also with others. I enjoyed building relationships, getting support in planning projects, and processing my feelings in regards to the state of the world. The course was a great balance of input, body work, meditation, and group sharing and Margo was an empathetic, kind, and well-organised facilitator.’
‘This course has helped me to know my truth. It has given me the courage to follow my heart and make some big changes in my life.’
