Learning to See Each Other: Finding Hope and Connection in a polarised world
January 17, 2026 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm CET
Event Overview
We are living through a challenging time in history.
There is so much happening around the globe and we are more aware than ever of how interconnected our lives are. We are constantly flooded by news, often presented in polarized “us vs them” narratives. Dealing with all this information and the feelings that come with it is a lot to take in every day.
You may be noticing more polarization around and within you lately and you may feel overwhelmed, frightened or enraged at the state of the world right now.
If you care deeply but are struggling to find your strength, you’re not alone!
In this 1-day online workshop you will experience a condensed version of the whole Work That Reconnects spiral process:
🌀 Rooting in gratitude
🌀 Honoring the pain for the world
🌀 Seeing with new eyes
🌀 Going forth.
This proven guided process supports you in making space for the pain of the world while holding a vision for a better collective future.
The workshop will particularly help harmonize inner and outer conflicts caused by the tumultuous planetary situation (political, social, cultural, ecological etc).
We’ll focus on seeing the world from different perspectives, even putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes — including non-human ones.
We will use guided conversation, active listening, grounding practices, reflection, ritual, and imaginative exercises to give space to whatever is present, expand our circles of compassion, and remember our interconnectedness.
No matter whether you are new to this work or acquainted with it, you are welcome!
The workshop is held on Zoom and co-facilitated by Luna D’Angelo and Jas Tribe.
