This Revenue Sharing policy has been crafted with the vision of creating a regenerative flow of resources that supports the continued work of the WTR Network and provides ample compensation for facilitators that is in direct proportion to the amount of revenue generated by each event.

 

All Webinar and Conversation Cafe Program events are offered to the public by free-choice donation within the Gift Economy. A suggested donation amount is presented for each event, but participants are free to register without making a donation, or they can choose to make a donation of any amount during the registration process.

 

Each event the WTR Network promotes and hosts through the Webinar and Conversation Cafe program costs the Network about $700.

 

For events with 1-2 presenters, each presenter will be guaranteed a payment of $100, regardless of the revenue the event generates.

 

For events with 3-4 presenters or panelists, each presenter/panelist will be guaranteed a payment of $75, regardless of the revenue the event generates.

 

If the event generates revenue in excess of the guaranteed flat payment to the presenter(s) and the $700 cost to the Network, the remaining revenue will be shared between the Network and the presenter(s), with 50% retained by the Network and 50% being distributed equally among the presenters.

 

In order to receive any amount of payment from the WTR Network, each presenter will be required to sign an Event Agreement and provide a W9 (in US) or W8 (outside of US). 

 

Presenters may choose to donate any portion of their payment to the WTR Network to support its continued offerings and will have the opportunity to indicate this within the Event Agreement.
